Marquese Winston Found Guilty Of Second-Degree Murder In Alex Wroblewski's Murder
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A guilty verdict was reached in the murder of a popular Federal Hill bartender.
Marquese Winston was found guilty of second degree murder and four handgun charges.
His girlfriend, Tonya Hayes, was found guilty on just two handgun charges.
"Mr. Wintson is now facing 69 years incarceration," State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby said. "Ms. Hayes is now facing at least up to six years of incarceration."
They shot and killed Alex Wroblewski outside a Royal Farms in Locust Point in November 2017.
Wroblewski had just left work when he stopped at the store.

A third man -- Hayes' son -- reached a plea deal in February for his role in the crime.
"I think everyone is grateful there is a measure of closure," Thiru Vignarajah said. "They're grateful there was a unanimous verdict. They're grateful all of the people responsible for this terrible crime are going to spend time in jail."
The verdict was on the mind of many local residents.
"Knowing that justice is served, it makes me not feel safer, but feel better about, God forbid, if anything were to happen to me, then it would probably be the same outcome," Stephanie Persichittie, a bartender, said.
Wroblewski's parents embraced each other and looked up at the sky outside of the courthouse following the verdict.
