Known for its endless live music acts, The Horse typically boasts classic rock & roll bands, but offers plenty of nights featuring classic country western music. It is one of the oldest saloons in Baltimore, known for being the last place American writer Edgar Allan Poe was found before he died. This bar tends to celebrate the life of Poe by overcompensating in Jack Daniels as its specialty liquor. Swing by any day of the week for its much-loved, musical shows.
