So, spring has finally sprung and just in time for the fresh green grass is festive season! Today, there's basically every kind of festival you can image: you have your beer fests, food fests, music fests, and back by popular demand, a wine fest like none other, Wine in the Woods.

This annual event takes place Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17. The awesome tunes, great eats and wine-o-ing (that's a word, right?) runs from 11am to 6pm Saturday and 11am to 5 pm Sunday, making it the best weekend of the spring.

So, what could possibly make this such a stellar weekend, you ask? Welp, to begin, you get 2 days filled with basically as much wine as you can consume from wineries you love, like Bordeleau Vineyards & Winery, Great Shoals Winery and oh so many more.

Next, you get to fill up on some of the tastiest treats around including every ethnic food you could imagine: Mexican, Italian, Greek, American, and the list goes on. Then once you've grabbed your goodies you can lay out your blanket and discover whats so great about the great outdoors.

Once you've sufficiently consumed all of the wine, eats, and Mother Nature you're urban body can handle, you can head over to one of the 2 stages to rock out with bands like The Bad Influence, Joker's Wild, Vanessa Collier and like 10 others. Best of all, since this awesome fest is so close to home, you won't have to smoothly invite your new lady friends back to your camp sight to help pop your tent (trust us, not a line you want to use).

So grab your bandannas or dandelion crowns and head to Wine in the Woods, for an awesome kick off to summer.
