Election Results Certified In Baltimore City
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Baltimore is one step closer to having a new mayor. The votes from the mayoral primary nearly two weeks ago were certified as accurate Monday.
The final tally shows State Senator Catherine Pugh got 48,674 votes. Former Mayor Sheila Dixon got 46,225 votes.
Now that the election is certified, the runner up has three days to request a recount.
