Don't Turn Off O's Just Yet

I know the inclination is to blow off baseball just because the Ravens season is about to start, but there's still a reason to keep watching the Orioles.I'm not saying it's because they can play play spoiler. That might make NY and Tampa watch, not me. No I am intrigued by the way this team is competing against the best teams who DO have something for which to play. Matusz turned in a great performance against the Yankees. The Orioles have now won 3 straight vs. Tampa and NY. If they continue to play really well, McPhail might really be able to spend some money next year and make a run at it. I'm not sure what "it" is, but if it's a couple great players, maybe next year is time to go for adding a couple of big money guys.
