Dont ask because Thomas wont come back

As most of you have probably heard the Patriots have released Adalius Thomas just 3 years into his 5 year contract.  I have already heard a couple of people calling in asking if there is a chance he will be back in Ravens purple.  First question I got for Ravens Nation is why would you want him back?

He is coming off some disappointing seasons in New England and he is 32.  The Ravens don't need to get older in that area they need to get younger which is what they did in the draft.  Thomas was an outstanding player for the Ravens but picking him up would be moving in the wrong direction.  Also he left on not so good terms, after Thomas left he made some remarks that the Patriots don't pump their chest like the Ravens did, that shot was mostly directed towards Ray Lewis.  So as long as # 52 is still in the Ravens locker room Thomas most likely wont be.  Thomas has already stated according to ESPN.com that he would like to be reunited with Rex Ryan and play for the New York Jets or as I like to call them the New York Ravens.  I find it funny that Ravens fans want to pick up every free agent that becomes available but trust me the only way you will see Thomas in a Ravens jersey is looking up old pics (like the one below), and its for the best.
