BALTIMORE (AP) -- A Maryland couple will spend decades in prison after keeping a 22-year-old woman locked in a bathroom in their Reisterstown apartment for nearly nine months.
A Baltimore County Circuit Court judge on Tuesday sentenced Germaine A. Smith-Bey, 31, to 50 years in prison for false imprisonment, assault and attempted rape. His girlfriend, Kimberly Stacy King, 39, was sentenced to 40 years in prison.
