Cliff Lee
If you wonder why I want the Baltimore Orioles to give Cliff Lee a blank check, all you had to do was watch his performance last night in the ALCS for the Texas Rangers vs the New York Yankees. All we heard leading up to the game was how dominant Lee has been in the postseason. For most humans, the pressure may have gotten to them. Not for Lee. All he did was strike out 13 Yankees in a dominating eight inning performance, leading the Rangers to a 8-0 win a 2-1 lead in the series. The Yankees now have to depend on AJ Burnett, who lost 15 games during the season, to prevent the team from going down 3-1 to Texas
