Cherry Blossom 10K And 5K Runs To Close Streets

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Drivers in Washington should expect street closures ahead of the Cherry Blossom 10k and 5k runs.

More than 15,000 people are expected to participate in Sunday's races, which begin and end near the Washington Monument.

Road closures start as early as 2 a.m. Sunday and will last as late as 11:30 a.m. Closures include the Memorial Bridge and
Independence Avenue near the Washington Mall.
