Cecil Co. Beaches Found With High Bacteria Levels
ELKTON, Md. (AP) -- The Cecil County Health Department says three beaches have failed to meet water quality tegulations.
According to the Cecil Whig, the department says the waters at Crystal Beach, Greenbank Community beach and Elkview Shores have bacteria levels that are above regulation. Ed Arellano of the department says officials plan to post advisories about the findings at the beaches.
He says the beaches will close if bacteria levels remain high.
