LINTHICUM, Md. (WJZ)  -- Passengers were evacuated at BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport Monday morning due to a mysterious odor.

Officials say the smell prompted hazmat teams to clear two concourses.

Investigators say a suspicious item, believed to be pepper spray, was recovered from a trash can.
