Brian Matusz
Ok, so he's not going to win Rookie of he Year like some people predicted at the start of the season, but Brian Matusz has been very good lately. Last night against the playoff bound Tampa Bay Rays, Matusz threw seven shutout innings en route to his ninth win of the season. The Orioles are now 30-21 under Buck Showalter, and with one more victory, they avoid a 100 loss season. It's not the world series, but we are talking baby steps here. I'm actually looking forward to 2011.
