Body Of Missing 18-Year-Old Found In Baltimore City
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The body of a missing 18-year-old was found in Baltimore City.
Ryan Wesley Jackson, 18, was found dead on Oct. 15, and the case has been ruled a homicide.
The victim's girlfriend reported him missing Oct. 14, after not hearing from him since around 3 p.m. on Oct. 12. She reported that he had told her that he was going to visit a friend, and that he had not returned home or contacted her since that time.
Family members contacted the police Oct. 15 to advise that they found blood in a residence in the 700-block of Rambo Court. Family members believed he may have gone to that address, and went to the home to look for him. Blood was found inside the home, and Baltimore County homicide detectives responded to investigate.
On Oct. 15, a body of a young adult male was found in the 5500-block of Pennington Avenue in Baltimore City. The victim had visible traumatic injuries.
Detectives from the Baltimore City Homicide Unit contacted the Baltimore County Police after the body was located, and county homicide detectives responded to the scene.
The victim was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy. That office ruled the case a homicide on Oct. 16.
