Board Approves Second Phase Of Communication System
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- The Board of Public Works has approved a contract with Motorola Solutions, Inc., for the second phase of an integrated public safety wireless communications system.
The board approved the contract on Wednesday.
The system is designed to provide state agencies and local jurisdictions with a secure radio system for emergency communications.
The board also approved spending $29.3 million for subscriber equipment through the end of fiscal year 2013.
