Blue Jays-Orioles news & notes

The Blue Jays are in town for a three-game series, the start of a 10-game homestand here at Camden Yards.... The Tampa Bay Rays and Minnesota Twins (four-game series) will follow.

- Matt Wieters was placed on the 15-Day DL and Josh Bell was recalled from Triple-A Norfolk. Bell will start in place of a veteran at some point, probably Tejada. Craig Tatum will catch in place of Wieters with a day off on Sunday where Jake Fox will be behind the plate. Tatum will then catch Monday and Tuesday vs. the Rays and Fox will return to play on Wednesday due to the O's day game at 12:35pm.

- Mike Gonzalez and Luke Scott are said to be doing well in Florida and both could return in a week. Kevin Millwood played catch yesterday but nothing to report there. As I said on the Scott Garceau Show, no news is good news.

- The rotation for the next five games is as follows: Tonight, Brad Bergesen followed by Jeremy Guthrie, Brian Matusz, Chris Tillman and Jake Arrieta... four rookies.
