BLOG: Update On Irene
Our nice weather the past three days will begin to change Thursday. A cold front will likely bring us warmer and more humid air and the chance for a few gusty thunderstorms by Thursday afternoon or evening.
On Friday, the front will stall out close enough to produce a few more showers.
It's the weekend that we must address next. By Saturday night, the approach of Irene will likely bring rain and winds across the region, with the strongest activity on the Eastern Shore.
By Sunday afternoon, Irene will have passed to our northeast and we should see rapid clearing and breezy conditions by later in the day.
By Monday, bright sunshine and drier conditions will abound.
