BLOG: Summer Will Arrive Soon

This is the last weekend of spring...calendar summer arrives on Tuesday at 1:16 p.m.
 
The overall forecast for today will stay on track with previous forecasts issued. The front that is controlling our weather will be in the viewing area today. Another system will begin to approach from the west tomorrow allowing for another mainly dry day across the region.

Monday will feature this disturbance causing a few showers and thunderstorms to form, especially during the afternoon and evening.

Later in the time period, the unsettled weather will stick around offering more opportunities for showers and thunderstorms. The humidity and temperatures will generally stay in the same range over the next several days.
