BLOG: New Storm Coming Our Way

The clouds are moving in as a new storm moves our way.

The tropical disturbance that brought a lot of rain and squally weather to Florida is moving north. Clouds started to arrive yesterday, but will thicken and lower today. There may even be a couple of showers later today before the more solid rain and drizzle arrives tonight. The rain will be locally heavy during the day tomorrow as the center passes by. Some rain will linger into early Thursday before the center of the storm moves away.

We will get a brief break Thursday before the next storm moves our way. Clouds will mix with some sunshine and temperatures will top out in the low 70s. Then, scattered showers will move through Thursday night and Friday with a different storm coming our way from the Midwest. This storm will get out of here over the weekend, but usher in a shot of cooler, more seasonable air. Highs will drop back down to the 60s Saturday while overnight lows are back in the 40s.
