BLOG: Cold Stretch Continues

The weather is dry, albeit chilly today. Cold tonight, then increasing and thickening clouds are in store for tomorrow. The next "clipper" that will be moving into the mid-Atlantic states late tomorrow and early tomorrow night will cause a secondary wave of low pressure to form near Baltimore around midnight. We should see around an inch or so of snow by early Friday morning, which could cause some slick travel and potential headaches.

But, in this particular case, the bulk of the snow once again will be occurring to the north and east of the WJZ viewing area. It is conceivable that some places in northeastern Pennsylvania or across southeastern New York and southern New England may get 6-10 inches of snow between Friday and Friday night, but Maryland's accumulations are expected to be less than 2 inches, with the bulk of the snow occurring between 10 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. on Friday.

Have a good day !!!
