BLOG: Baltimore Baseball Tonight Number 1

I hope you're all enjoying "Baltimore Baseball Tonight" on 105.7 The Fan. I recently caught wind of the ratings from 6-7pm and guess who is NUMBER 1? We are!!!  In fact, our direct competition didn't even come close to us. So congratulations to the entire BBT team at CBS Radio.

I think Bob Haynie, Jim Duquette, Joe Orsulak and I have really gotten into a good rhythm. Don't you? Not only that... we are having so much fun on a nightly basis. If you haven't heard our show, make sure you tune in at 6pm to get all your Orioles information including a recap of last night's game, a preview of tonight's game, a break down of the pitching matchup, lineups and stats, who's hot and who's not, and the latest injury reports from the team and from down on the farm... and more.

Tonight the Orioles will open at two-game series against the struggling New York Yankees at Camden Yards followed by a three-game set against the Washington Nationals. After Monday's off day, they'll then host the red hot Kansas City Royals for three games before hitting the road to Oakland. Brian Matusz could return as early as next week and take the mound on the last game against the Royals in front of the home crowd.

Over the next two nights, due to the crowd at Pickles in town for the Yankees (and the poor weather), we will most likely be broadcasting from the second floor. Make sure you pop up and say hello. We'll also be giving away free t-shirts as we do every night. So if you're in the area, COME TO PICKLES PUB.
