BLOG: Another Gorgeous Day
An interesting weather pattern will evolve through midweek which should bring about a several day period of dry, pleasant weather to much of the Northeast. A weak upper-level disturbance moving off of the coast of New England early this morning will provide for a stray shower today, and this feature will develop into a slow moving low-pressure system by tomorrow and then drift towards Bermuda. At the same time a deep upper-level trough will carve its way into the Southwest and eventually develop into a slow moving upper-level low over the Rockies and northern Plains. In between we will find ridging... and coincidentally we will find ourselves there as well. So not much to worry about through at least Thursday with nothing more than an increase in clouds expected by then. The real changes begin on Friday as the ridge axis slides eastward and the western trough approaches. Given the time frame we're talking about here, no sense in getting into details, but rain chances arrive in time for next weekend.
Have a great day!
