BLOG: Another Gorgeous Day

We sound like a broken record, but it's incredible. Incredible just HOW warm it's been and for HOW many days. We continue to comb through the numbers and continue to find new, interesting facts. Dating back to Dec. 1, we have hit the 70s 4 times and 60s 19 times. This is usually the coldest stretch of the year, but each and every month during that same stretch has averaged way above normal. This trend is going to continue.

At the time of writing this, the official high is not in yet for the day. We have topped out at 79 degrees so far and may be able to squeak out 80 before the day is through. A cold front will swing through Tuesday evening with the chance for a shower or thunderstorm. But we are not going to cool down much behind this front. Highs tomorrow and Thursday will still be in the mid 70s.

Another front will move our way for the second half of the week. Clouds will move in Thursday and then there could be a few showers Friday and Saturday. Temperatures will take a hit during this time. However, we are only going to drop into the 60s. That is still nearly 10 degrees above average! Yes, our average high as of today is still just 53 degrees.
