Spring break is often associated with high school seniors and college students running off to beaches to party for a week or two. But school is out for everyone during the spring break, and that means that it can be a great time for families to get out and enjoy themselves as well. Take your family to these local locales to spend time doing things that kids and adults can enjoy together.

Most spring breakers find their way to beaches in Florida, California, Cancun or some island location. But fun can be had right here in Maryland on one of the more popular beach areas in the state. Ocean City is a great place to spend a week, and Princess Royale Resort is an affordable location to do so. Check out the hiking and biking trails that offer a fantastic survey of the local landscape and wildlife on Assateague Island.
