Best Easter Day Events In Baltimore

"Here comes Peter Cottontail, hoppin' down the Bunny Trail"...these are the words of a popular song that signifies that Easter is on its way. There are plenty of  egg-citing events happening in the Baltimore area to celebrate the arrival of Peter Cottontail. Whether your preference is having breakfast, brunch, or lunch  with the Easter bunny, dyeing eggs or participating in an egg hunt, you are sure to find something to suit your fancy in Charm City as you have fun while leaving no stone unturned.

The Bunny Breakfast and Train Ride event will take place Friday and Saturday April 3 and 4, 2015 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Available at this historic venue with be a train ride with the Easter Bunny as well as a buffet breakfast. There will also be a story time for the little ones and train rides. There will be an opportunity to take photos with the Easter Bunny. Train rides will take place at 11AM, 1PM and 2:30PM. Advance reservations are required.

Sunday, April 5, 2015 from 7:30 a.m. through 8:3 a.m.

Attendees will enjoy a hot buffet style breakfast with the Easter Bunny. Afterward, there will be opportunities for photos with the holiday rabbit and to see the animals. Visitors will also have the opportunity to exhibit their creativity by making a special spring craft. Tickets include admission to the Zoo, its special event, Bunny BonanZoo, and breakfast.

Friday April 3 - Sunday April 5, 2015 from 10 a.m. through 2 p.m.

This is an egg-citing annual event.The world-renowned company known for its Easter eggs, Mary Sue Candies, will host a day filled with activities, games, and live entertainment, including puppets. Not only will the children receive sweet treats, but they'll also get to see the animals. This celebration is a wonderful way to observe the Easter weekend. As children find the eggs during the hunt, they can redeem them for the world famous chocolate eggs. This event is free with zoo admission.

Saturday, March 28, 2015 from 12 p.m. through 2 p.m.

Located in Baltimore's Druid Hill Park, the Conservatory provides the perfect backdrop for this one-of-a-kind carnival, sponsored by the Department of Recreation and Parks. Geared toward children ages 2-12, this event will feature a petting farm, moonbounce, obstacle course, rock climbing wall, face painting and airbrush tattoos. According to programmer Tara Ingram and Public Relations representative Arli Lima, there will also be arts and crafts, a disc jockey and well as a photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny. Most activities are free, but children must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration is also required to receive a free goodie bag.

Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 4 p.m.

Participants will listen to stories about the Easter tradition, then complete a craft activity with an Easter theme. This is a great way to bridge generations while having fun. The event is free and open to the public.
