Bei Bei Caught Waving As Public Debut Nears

WASHINGTON (WJZ)-- One more week-- that's how long we have to wait until Bei Bei's public debut, but we're getting another peek at the panda cub tonight.

The National Zoo captures the cub waving to the camera.

The keeper says Bei Bei has grown a lot recently and now weighs in at 16 pounds.

The cub is now 5-months old.

It seems like the cub is eager to make his public debut and from the looks of it, he's a natural.
