Be Careful On Big Ben

Great point from a female caller on the Ben Roethlisburger suspension.  He is going to ask Roger Goodell to cut his suspension, maybe in half.  From a Ravens perspective, as long as he misses 4 games, that's fine. But the NFL needs to consider something else.

How are women going to feel  if the suspension is reduced?  The league spends a lot of time, and is very effective at courting female fans--pink jerseys, breast cancer partnership, clinics for women, etc. These same customers might feel like it's a slap in the face if a guy accused of sexual assault twice gets his suspension reduced because he says he's a "changed  man." I still think they'll reduce it, but it's a good point.
