Baltimore Residents Celebrate Defenders Day
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Baltimore residents celebrated the city's oldest holiday, Defenders Day, on Sunday.
Events took place all weekend. The U.S. Naval Academy Band, as well as reenactors, made appearances.
Defenders Day honors the successful defense of Baltimore from British attacks.
It also commemorates the writing of the National Anthem in 1814.
