Baltimore County To Receive Superstorm Sandy Aid
WASHINGTON (WJZ) -- The Federal Emergency Management Agency has approved Public Disaster Assistance for Baltimore County in the wake of Superstorm Sandy.
Funding will be used to rebuild roads, buildings and other infrastructure damaged in the storm.
Twenty-two other counties and Baltimore City have already been awarded funding from FEMA.
The Maryland delegation urged President Obama to approve Governor Martin O'Malley's updated request for Individual Disaster Assistance.
Allegany, Anne Arundel, Baltimore County, Calvert, Caroline, Carroll, Cecil, Charles, Dorchester, Frederick, Garrett, Harford, Howard, Kent, Montgomery, Prince George's, Queen Anne's, Somerset, St. Mary's, Talbot, Washington, Wicomico and Worchester Counties have all been approved for disaster assistance.
