Baltimore County To Accept 11 Acres From Baltimore
CATONSVILLE, Md. (AP) -- The Baltimore Council has approved a plan to accept 11 acres in Catonsville from the city of Baltimore to help preserve recreational and open space.
The Baltimore Sun reports that the council on Tuesday unanimously backed a plan to accept the $110,000 property on Maple Ave. near Frederick and Rolling roads.
NeighborSpace, a group that works to preserve open space in urban areas within the county, will protect the land from development.
