Baltimore City Police Investigating 3 Shootings
BALTIMORE (AP) -- Baltimore city police are investigating three separate shootings.
Department spokesman Det. Donny Moses tells The Baltimore Sun that homicide detectives responded Sunday night to a shooting on East 22nd Street, where a man was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Moses says the man was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital, but his condition was unknown.
At 7:39 p.m., police were called to the 600-block of George Street in West Baltimore, where an elderly man was shot. He was taken to Shock Trauma, and his condition was also unknown.
Earlier, police found a 25-year-old man shot in the torso in the 5300-block of Gist Ave. in Northwest Baltimore. Moses says the man was shot with a small-caliber handgun. No details about the motive or suspect have been released.
