Authorities Arrest 9 in Prostitution, Human Trafficking Bust

OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) — Authorities have arrested nine people in a human trafficking and prostitution bust at Ocean City hotels.

The Ocean City Police Department said in a news release that a collaborative investigation between the police department and Homeland Security Investigations Baltimore resulted in the arrests on May 19 and May 20.

Multiple people from Maryland and Delaware were booked on charges including prostitution, pandering and drug possession.

Authorities also seized $1,850, a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS, heroin, cocaine, suboxone, marijuana, hash oil, two additional prescription stimulants and drug paraphernalia.

The Worcester County Bureau of Investigations, Maryland State Police and the Berlin Police Department also assisted in the prostitution bust.
