Arrest Made In Killing In Prince George's County

CAPITOL HEIGHTS, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County police say they have made an arrest in the killing of a man whose body was found behind a trash receptacle in Capitol Heights.

Police say Jamik Mathew Sumby, 28, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder Tuesday in the death of Perry Earl Hunt.

Authorities say they were called to the 1400-block of Doewood Lane for a report of a body on Friday morning. Arriving officers found Hunt's body wrapped in plastic behind an apartment complex dumpster.

Police say Sumby, of Fairmount Heights, and Hunt, of Upper Marlboro, were "known acquaintances." Authorities say Sumby had stabbed Hunt during an altercation at another location.
