Angry white guy? Not!!!!!!!!

Saturday night a car bomb was parked at 45th and Broadway by an unknown suspect.  Thankfully a t-shirt vendor noticed smoke coming from the SUV and called police.  The NYPD responded and safely neutralized the threat.  The problem I have with the case were the comments made by Mayor Michael Bloomberg.  When asked who he thought might have done it he said that if he were to make a 25 cent bet it was someone mad about healthcare....really???

The fact is a Pakistani who was a naturalized  American citizen was arrested at JFK boarding a flight to Dubai.  This comes just weeks after the US issued an advisory about threats to crowded tourist areas at the hands of Pakistanis. The threat was focused in India but it was related to Pakistan never the less. 

I'm not indicting an entire country but merely stating a fact about who was thought to be involved at this stage of the investigation.  The mayor was speaking without any information but more over it seems people are willing ...no anxious to have an American responsible for an act of terror.  Tea baggers are deemed racist, crazy or both yet I know of no act of violence attributed to one of those gatherings.  Why are we so unwilling to be honest with ourselves and admit there are people who are trying to kill us who happen to be from certain countries and a particular radical segment of a major religion.  Political correctness is gonna get us killed.
