Amazon Donates $100K To University Of Maryland Engineering, Robotics Programs

COLLEGE PARK, Md. (WJZ) -- Amazon has donated $100,000 to the University of Maryland's engineering school for diversity initiatives and robotics programs.

This is the first time the University has partnered with Amazon.

Among several things, the company's donation is expected to fund two doctoral fellowships in robots for this academic year.
