Additional Charges Filed Against Driver

OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) -- Ocean City police have filed additional charges against a man accused of causing a crash that left a toddler critically injured.

Andre Kaczynski, 47, had been charged with driving while impaired, after the pickup truck he was driving struck another vehicle stopped at a red light on Dec. 16. WBOC-TV reports that an 18-month-old girl was injured and remains in critical condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.

Police say they found PCP in the truck. On Dec. 22, officers executed a search and seizure warrant at Kaczynski's home and allegedly found marijuana and PCP.

He was charged with possession of PCP and possession of marijuana. Kaczynski is being held without bond.
