A Silver Lining?
We all know this Orioles season has been a struggle, but there may be some help on the way. Second basemen Brian Roberts began a rehab assignment with AA Bowie last night. He got hits in his first two at bats and drove in a run. The return of Roberts will not make the O's contenders. I'm not delusional. That being said, it was an enormous loss for the club when Roberts was lost early this season. Adding Roberts to a lineup with Matt Wieters, Nick Markakis, and Adam Jones might make this team more watchable if nothing else.
