911 Dispatchers, Allegany County Sign Contract
CUMBERLAND, Md. (AP) -- The Allegany County Commission and the union representing 23 911 dispatcher have signed a contract for the employees.
The contract, signed Thursday, does not provide a pay increase, but includes a stress evaluation.
Also included is a non-absence incentive. For each six-month period during which an employee does not take sick leave, the employee can be awarded $75 or eight hours pay, whichever is greater.
The Times-News of Cumberland reports that the agreement includes a no-strike clause.
