LeBron Geography
He's the devil in Cleveland. The hometown hero who jilted the long-suffering Cleveland fans and kicked sand in their faces on his way to South Beach. Cavs owner Dan Gilbert, left waiting at the altar, ripped the star he was trying so hard to hang onto.
Gilbert said James quit on the Cavs in their playoff series against the Celtics and said he quit the year before in a game 6 playoff loss to Orlando. Question, knowing all this and saying that people have covered up for LeBron for way too long, I wonder why Mr. owner was even interested in re-signing King James.
In South Florida it's a different story, LeBron jerseys are flying off the shelves and the Heat, 15th in attendance last season, have sold out the upcoming season. James, Wade, Bosh, sunshine and championship trophies.
What's not to like about LeBron? a 2-time MVP superstar, greedy? no way, he could have made more money in Cleveland but he wants to win TITLES (plural) with the Heat. And PLEASE, lets not forget all that money he gave to The Boys and Girls Clubs. Forget King James he might be Saint James!
Yes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and the truth about this whole LeBron James saga lies geographically somewhere between Cleveland and Miami, I'm guessing that's right near Charlotte.
