BALTIMORE (AP) -- Baltimore fire officials say five people, including one member of the fire department, were injured in an accident involving a city ambulance.
Fire department spokesman Kevin Cartwright tells The Baltimore Sun that a vehicle collided with the ambulance Sunday evening at the intersection of North Calvert and East Lexington streets downtown.
Four occupants of the car and a fire department member in the ambulance were taken to hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
