3 Charged In Threats Against Md. Probation Agent
BALTIMORE (AP) -- Three men have been charged with threatening a probation agent at Baltimore's courthouse after she testified in a hearing.
The sheriff's office says an indictment against the three men, 21-year-old Lionel Lynch and 19-year-old twin brothers Jerrell and Terrell Randle, was handed up Friday. Each faces four counts related to witness intimidation. Two were arrested over the weekend and the third was arrested Tuesday.
Sheriff's office spokesman Lt. Samuel Cogen says the men weren't happy with the outcome of a Nov. 17 probation violation hearing for a person originally convicted of assault. Cogen says they followed the probation agent, who testified at the hearing, through the Mitchell Courthouse, threatening to harm her.
Cogen says video from inside the courthouse helped investigators identify the three men.
