2 Baltimore Airport Checkpoints Briefly Shut Down
BALTIMORE (AP) -- Two security checkpoints at Baltimore's Thurgood Marshall Airport were shut down for more than a half hour because of improper screening of passengers.
A spokesman for the Transportation Security Administration says the checkpoints were closed from about 8:40 a.m. Saturday until 9:20 a.m. TSA spokesman Michael McCarty said the checkpoints were shut "out of caution" but did not elaborate.
The checkpoints serve Southwest Airlines.
