16 To Be Transported After Tour Bus Crash
GREENBELT, Md. (AP) -- Authorities say 16 tour bus passengers are complaining of neck and back pain after a crash involving two tour buses and multiple other vehicles on the Capital Beltway.
Prince George's County fire department spokesman Mark Brady says several pieces of equipment will be required to transport those passengers to hospitals, and traffic is likely to be tied up. The crash occurred Wednesday morning on southbound Interstate 95 -- the inner loop of the Beltway -- just past Kenilworth Avenue in Greenbelt.
Brady says there were no serious injuries.
