Heat advisories continue across the South with slight relief in metro Atlanta
The heat isn't going away, with much of Central and South Georgia remaining under a heat advisory through Tuesday. Metro Atlanta will fare slightly better than the southern part of the state, but temperatures could still feel like the triple digits.
