Atlanta family turns aspiring lawyer’s legacy into scholarships
Gerald Crawford died in 2020 when a tree fell on his southwest Atlanta home shortly before he was set to take the bar exam. His family and friends have since awarded about $30,000 to high school and college students through a foundation bearing his name.
