APS graduate following in grandfather's footsteps at Georgia Tech
More than 60 years after helping break racial barriers at Georgia Tech, one of the school’s first Black students is watching his grandson continue the family legacy. Ralph Long Jr., one of the “Three Pioneers,” admitted in 1961, returned to campus as his grandson prepares to graduate at the top of his class and attend Georgia Tech to study computer engineering.
