2,977 flags honor every life lost on 9/11 at Kennesaw Mountain
More than 1,200 volunteers signed up to help create the Kiwanis Club of Marietta’s Field of Flags. Each flag honors a person killed in the Sept. 11 attacks while helping teach a new generation about remembrance and unity.
