I-5 in Stockton reopens after deadly crash near Crosstown Freeway junction
STOCKTON – A person has died after being struck by several vehicles on Interstate 5 in Stockton early Wednesday morning.
The incident happened just before 4 a.m. near the northbound Interstate 5 and Highway 4 junction, known as the Crosstown Freeway.
Exactly what led up to the collision is unclear, but CHP confirmed that a pedestrian had been struck by multiple vehicles.

Northbound I-5 was closed through the early morning hours, but reopened just before 6 a.m.
The name of the person who died has not been released.
