Christmas began in the fourth century when church officials chose to honor the birth of Jesus but several customs we've come to associate with the holiday actually evolved from ancient pagan traditions celebrating the winter solstice. Historian Kenneth C. Davis is the best-selling author of the "Don't Know Much About" series. He joins “CBS This Morning” to break down the unexpected origins of some of our most well-known Christmas traditions.
