First same-sex couple married in California since SCOTUS decision on Prop 8
Kris Perry and Sandy Stier are the first same-sex couple to be married in California since the U.S. Supreme Court's decision on Proposition 8 allowed the state to resume the issuance of same-sex marriage licenses. The marriage was officiated by California State Attorney General Kamala Harris.
