Toronto Mayor Ford may be stripped of power following new apology
The Toronto City Council will consider a motion to strip Toronto Mayor Rob Ford of his budget power after a new apology in which the mayor said he was sorry Thursday for profane comments he made earlier that day. He also answered to the latest round of allegations that he is linked to prescription drug abuse, prostitution, oral sex with a former staff member, and drunk driving.
